Privacy policy

This policy covers two things: this website, and Base Camp Ads, the internal tool Base Camp Collective, LLC uses to run its own Google Ads campaigns. Our products (VeloBoard and Otto) have their own privacy policies.

This website

This site is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no forms, so we don't collect anything when you visit. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and operations.

Base Camp Ads and Google user data

Base Camp Ads signs in with Google OAuth and requests the Google Ads API scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords). The only Google account that authorizes it is the company's own, and the only Google Ads data it reads or changes belongs to the company's own advertising account.

With that access it reads and changes campaigns, ad groups, keywords, ads and budgets, and it reads performance reports (impressions, clicks, cost). We use that data for one purpose: running and measuring advertising for our own products.

Reports are kept on company-controlled computers and in our internal business records. We don't sell this data, share it with third parties, or use it to train AI models. OAuth tokens are stored on company machines and never published. Revoking the tool's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions stops all access immediately.

Base Camp Ads is not offered to anyone outside the company and never requests access to another person's Google account.

Base Camp Ads' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
